TV Digital Switchover Help Scheme

Ok, so your TVs are already all digital, or you’re a techie and know what to do, or you have a kind neighbour, friend or relative who will do it for you. But think for a moment – what if you weren’t in this position and without help you were going to be faced with nothing but a blank screen in February – literally!

Is there someone you know who may need help with their TV switchover? Maybe they don’t get out much or are easily confused by technical instructions and official looking forms.

If you know them well enough, ask them. Have they received a letter from the Help Scheme? Do they want any help? Have they called the free Help Scheme number? If you’re unsure, drop a quick email to future@frilsham.org.uk and we’ll follow it up.

 

1  GP Out of Hours Services

The number patients are given to ring WestCall is 0118 978 7811.

WestCall provides medical advice and management for the patients of all the GP practices in West Berkshire outside normal surgery hours and operates at the following times:

Mon to Fri:             from 6.30 pm each evening and overnight to 8.00 am
Weekends:           from 6.30 pm on Friday through Saturday and Sunday to 8.00 am Monday morning
Public Holidays:  from 6.30 pm the previous evening through to 8.00 am the following morning
